Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT
II you mean 'how to turn change oil light off" go to fuse panel. Open drivers door there is a panel cover on the side of dash board, remove cover there is a red RESET button that resets oil pressure and tire pressure. Turn the ignition key to the on position but don't start the car. Now press and release the reset button the change oil light should start to flash, now press and hold the reset button until you hear chimming hold until chimming stops then release, the change oil light should go off. If you need to reset tire pressure press reset button twice, the first push will make the change oil light flash the second press will make the tire pressure light flash then hold untill chimming stops, light should go out . Hope this helps.
