For that model regular trans fluid is find, you wont need dexron, or any syth- type.

I would like to know the recommend fluids for aplication in Accord and Civic SI 2010. I would get the manual free?


oil is API 5w/20 Honda recommends using all there fluids as they are supposed to be subpurb. to the others alot of this info is on the inside of your hood....auto tranny fluid Honda ATF Z1 or equivalent DOT 3 brake fluid....Unleaded gas 86 or higher octane.....Honda Allseason Anti freeze/coolant Type 2 ......50 50 mixture2.4 liter holds 4.4 quarts of motor oil....tranny fluid 3.0 quarts 4cyl

1991 Honda Accord 2.2L FI 4cyl the Vehicle Speed Sensor is located mounted on transmission.

you need to check your transmission fluid. Its a possibility that your transmission is going.

There should be a fill hole on the left side of the trans. you can unscrew and fill with 85-90w fluid.........good luck. You may need a tube to get the fluid in.

Your owners manual should explain what ATF fluid to use ... If you cannot find an answer there, a reputable auto parts store should be able to help you.

91 speedometer and miles


I have a 91 Accord. When I purchased it, the speedometer did not work. I replaced the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) and the speedometer started working again. I paid $24 for the sensor on ebay. The local part stores wanted $150. It's an easy fix. It takes about 20 minutes to replace.
