If the blower motor does not function, it is blown fuse, defective blower motor, defective blower motor resistor pack, or in rare instances a defective blower motor speed control switch. Check the fuse. If it is ok, apply 12 volts directly to the blower motor and if it runs, you probably have a defective resistor pack.

How do I fix heater?

In order for this question to be answered, there are various questions to be answered. What kind of problem? Blower not blowing the heat out? Blowing air but it's not heated? It could be a number of reasons for this question, actually need more specific diagnostics of the problem, otherwise the list could be anything from.....Check the hoses going into the firewall, if they're not warm/hot check to see if the correct amount of coolant is in the radiator/reservoir system, bad thermostat, blower motor, blower motor fuse/relay bad, bad air diverter (moves the flapper inside the air box from cold air to warm air or outside air to recirculating air) heater core plugged, leaking heater core (again there would be insufficient coolant in the system).

Is it okay to buy a BMW Z3 that does not have AC? I saw this fantastic BMW Z3 but the problem is that it does not have air conditioning

Yes its ok to buy a car without the A/C, just won't have the cold air, but the windows can be opened to help cool off.

Put the heat to warm and change the setting to aim the warm air to the windshield, high blower setting works.

Turn the heat control from cold to hot but it still blows cold air

porbably your cabin heater (radiator like aparatus inside dash) is clogged with debris. you need to replace it if your blower works but it blows only cold air. but be sure that your engine is warm.

Missing hose from 1991 suzuki swift, what is it!

This is the warm air intake hose - it was probably a corrugated aluminium pipe about 2" in diameter. It's commonly called the stove pipe. Warm air from around the exhaust manifold is piped to the air filter case and used when the engine is cold to enable the fuel in the carby to atomise better. As the engine warms up, less of this pre-warmed air is needed and the valve in the air cleaner tube gradually closes off. Air then only comes from behind the headlight or the resonator box in the wheel arch. The loss of this hose won't affect warmed-up drivability at all (unless you are in a really cold climate), but performance/economy when cold or during warm-up maybe worse.

Heater won't warm up - no pressure from blower. Warms slightly when on windscreen but then cold when control changed to heat inside car. Had new radiator last year - seems ok but I do have to top up water...

You're losing coolant. You're not supposed to. could be a leak could be a head gasket. Head gasket=very expensive. Leak=hard to find.
No pressure from blower.....means air pressure or flow? Replace the control resistor for the blower motor. When it goes the motor only operates on high. If the motor doesn't operate on high, replace the blower motor.
Move to Fla, Houston, So Cal or Ariz for an ultimate fix of the problem.

Engine temp is fine - thermostat OK - no heat

The blend motor to go from cold to hot is located on the blower motor housing. They are usually mounted close to the blower motor.

The fan inside the car

the blower motor isnt working as it should. you probably need to replace it. put the switch on high and raise the hood of the car and on the passenger side you will find the blower motor,,,tap it a few times and see if it kicks on .if it does you have a loose connection if it dosent you have a bad blower motor

Warm air blower

Steam coming through the air vents indicates a leak in heater core. The heater core is like a small radiator that is used to heat the inside of your car in the winter time. The blower, blows air through the heater core and into the inside of the vehicle. The steam you are seeing is the hot coolant leaking from the core.
