Aveo air bags did not deploy after accident

The SRS systems are usually designed to go off in a frontal impact. There are 2 sensors that need inertia on the same plane to make contact and set off the system. My guess is that she did not hit anything at the correct angle to set off the system. It will not deploy when hit from the sides or rear of the car. An air bag will only increase your survivability by 4% over a lap belt/shoulder harness which gives you about 44% in an otherwise fatal accident. Lesson is always wear your belts. And say a prayer to thank god she is alive.

Airbag light says on: when tested it was ready to depoy why

When your airbag light is on, it means that the air bag system is malfunctioning, and not ready to deploy. You will need to take it to a dealership where they actually have the knowledge to find and fix your problem.

1998 pontiac sunfire - battery light on, abs light on, air bag light flashing - what is wrong. Car is hesitating and pulled into driveway and it shut off itself and when try to start it will not start,...

Hello
Sounds like you have a low battery supply and the car would act up if it does not have enough electrical supply.
Check the battery and alternator for proper values.
Hope that helps

Air Bag Light, Brake Light, & ABS Light came on in the dashboard.

Check and see if your alternator is charging
Low voltage will cause those lights to come on, as the computer is shutting down.

To check your alternator you will need a volt meter... WITH the engine running you should have about 14 volts coming out. IF NOT you need to replace the Alternator!

Flashing selt belt and air bag lights

Anything's possible, but don't buy the car if this condition persists. If the airbag was damaged, the repair cost is quite high.
And you will not be able to pass inspection if the seat belt light remains lit.

Air bag light

well yes and no, yes because when you get into an accident your air bags will not work, but while the light is on or flashing the cars computer has cut power to the air bags because of some kind of error have you hit any thing latley with the car? try disconnecting the battery for a minute and reconnect it and see if it still does it
