How do I fix my car after washing engine

If your lucky you might get it to start after waiting a day. You could also spray it down with WD-40, it disperses water and may allow it to start.

Why is speedo "sticky" after engine wash?

The washing process forced washing fluid into the speedometer cable or fitting. The cable may have to be replaced. Washing the engine often causes unexpected problems.

Washed the engine on a 2002 mazda tribute 3.0l it melted the egr and will only idle no power

You probably will have to take your Mazda to a mechanic and have everything replaced that you ruined by power washing the engine.

Washed the engine and my toyota corolla will turn over but will not start, what is wrong with it?

Also using a water displacement will help such as a slight spray of WD-40 lubricant. This learned while working at a car wash doing detailing cars and cleaning hundreds of engines!

What is the Proper Way to DEGREASE my ENGINE @ Car Wash Degreaser

You should not have any problem if you don't concentrate on the electrical components. What i mean is stay away from them as much as possible, and don't use alot of pressure wear you can blow things off. Myself i do it at home with a can of degreaser and a garden hose, If you do it at a car wash take a can of WD40 with you incase it stalls or wont start after you do it,WD40 displaces moisture, you would be better off doing it in your own driveway if your aloud too. You can wash any part you want. watch your paint on car, some of that degreaser can take off paint.

2005 Jaguar XJ8 won't start after going through the car wash.

Underneath the pollen filter housing under the bonnet the ECM (engine control module) is located,If any of the drains are blocked you could be getting water into the ECM....Just a thought...Hope this helps
