Question about Toyota Avalon
Without knowing the year and model of your Toyota. I'm gonna take a guess (which I hardly do) and say to check your ignition switch. Thats with regards to power distribution. As far as gear shift. .... It might just need to be adjusted IF possible. Some vehicles this item may have to be replaced. Unless your really handy with a volt meter and have a good back (especially for probing out that ignition switch) you may want to send this job to a repair shop.
