Air pressure sound may come from a leaky vacuum hose or bad check valve at the booster or master cylinder.

But, I think that it's normal to hear a soft hissing sound when depressing the brake pedal which comes from hydraulic fluid going through the passage ways.

Is the pedal hard?

When I push on the beakes, it sounds like air is going in. the brakes are not hard but sometimes squeal when i come to a stop.

Would you say the 'air' sound is loud, medium, or soft?

Squealing of the brakes can be normal as long as the vehicle does come to a 'sure' stop.

Squealing can be eliminated by using different brands of brake pads, such as Wagner brand brake pads that are known for having a quiet stop compared to some other brands.

    Its soft, almost deflating sound

I have had several cars that seem to have that soft deflating sound when depressing the brake. I think that this is normal as long as the pedal is hard and the car stops surely.

Push on brake pedal and air comes out exhaust tube 1995 freightliner fld120

the foot brake on the truck is effect a large air pressure regulator that you control with your foot. If you apply pressure and the air is escaping out the valve exhaust then I would think that the diaphragm in the brake unit is faulty. I would remove the brake unit for investigation / repair or replacement.

After putting on new calipers on both sides of my dodge ram 2005 1500 and bled brakes I have no brakes. What is the problem they worked fine until I did the caliper and brake

Did you bleed rear brakes also? Should do all 4 whenever bleeding brakes starting w/ right rear, left rear, right front then left front. Sounds like air in lines.

I have a 2001 ford taurus and every time i push the brake pedal my brakes dont brake right and sounds like air is leaking

Is the brake pedal getting harder to depress? Also have you had any work done on the vehicle immediately prior to this problem? If the pedal is getting harder to depress it could be a failing power brake booster if your car has one. Some ABS systems are different than others

Just got new front brake pads and rotors on 1995 blazer. When braking, there is an ''air-like'' sound....pssssssh, when you push down on the brake. Needs further bleeding? Should we take back to mechanic?...

It depends here...if the pedal goes all the way down when you brake then it will need further bleeding. Now it also depends if there is enough pressure from the master cylinder.

Brake line

it sounds like you still have a leak somewhere if you still hear air from somewhere. Replace the line with a new one and fill the master cylinder, then bleed the brakes. Start with the farthest one away from the master cylinder. An air vaccum bleeder works good for this if you do not have help.
