Turn on engine. Put foot on brake & shift into neutral. Push button marked 2 wheel or 2x2. Shift back into park. Providing nothing is wrong with system it will now be in 2 wheel.

I have a 1995 Plymouth Voyager how do i turn off the rear wiper it only runs when the key is turned over but im not sure how to turn it off is it the same button used to turn it on

From your description it sounds like you need a new rear wiper motor. If I understand your description correctly. When you active the rear wipers, they work but when you press the same button, to turn them off. The wipers still continue to move. The wipers will turn off if you turn off the ignition key (when the wiper blade is in the parked position). and when you restart the van the rear wiper still stays off until you press and active the rear wipers. If I understood you correctly then I will suggest that you take a closer look at the rear wiper motor. If you have any other questions, please write back. I would like to hear from you and the progress you have made, good luck.

When the weather is really hot, say 88 to 100 degrees, my 2005 Armada goes haywire. Meaning while I'm driving, the lights start to blink and the frond and rear windshield wipers start moving. I

I have not heard of an identical problem. There are several ways to go to attempt a repair. If it were me, I woud first look at a control or area which has both controls for the wipers and controls for the lights.

There is but one choice. If your car has "stalk" controls on the turn signals, intergrated with wiper controls and lights, all are in the stalk control assembly. Plastic and metal have different expansion rates. It is possible for the closely packed contact points to shift and short circuit.

Now for instance on other Brands, wiper controls randomly turn on when a turn signal is activated. Sometimes hitting a bump will make wipers go on without using a turn signal. That is a more common problem. But it illustrates that this does happen.

You can get free wiring diagrams at Autozone.com after registering your vehicle. You can also get diagrams at alldatdiy.com. This may be a problem as some Foreign models may not be listed, but try anyway.

What is vague is which lights are flashing? Is it turn signals, the high beam? as those are functions in the turn stalk. But dashlights are not.

Now another device that makes lights flash, but not the wipers, is the Antitheft. Look at your wiring diagrams to see how this is wired.

Although it may sound weird, have a complete battery and charging system analysis, free at big autoparts stores like Autozone. You just can't imagine the strange problems that arise from shorted batteries.

Worthy of mention are the Relays in the powerboxes. The Powerbox layouts are also available from the sites I mentioned. It is less likely because the physical separation between Relays is much greater than in the turn signal stalk where everything is compressed.

I hope my solutions are helpful.

2006 chevy trailblazer dome light will not turn off

it sounds as though you've got a wiring problem with your rear liftgate. this would cause the pin switch to think it's still open instead of closed, and the power loss to the wiper assembly. check your fuses first to see if there are any blown. then check and make sure your ground wire for the rear liftgate is clean and tight and not broken.

Tension in steering column, bad jerking when backing up, parking and turning slow.

if this is a 4x4 vehilce, make sure the switch to activate the 4x4 system is in 2WD. This sound like the 4WD has been engaged. Once the 4WD is engaged and you make turns on dry pavment this tension you're feeling will happen. This is a conflict inside the 4x4 system due to dry roads, the clutches in the rear differentail or transfer case are binding. The only time you engage the 4x4 is on wet/slipperly surface.

2001 Pontiac montanaThe front wipers park in the up position

This is a common problem with Chevy Venture, Olds Silhouette, and  Pontiac Montana. The mechanical wiper drive and parking cam assembly, if it's not broken, needs adjustment. The spring loaded stop arm should engage the vertical tab on the assembly mounting plate when the wiper motor reverses. See pic.  9a7b0af.jpg
I will upload the instructions to fix this problem, if there is interest.
