Where is the manual liftgate sensor located 2009 Equinox

The liftgate can be opened by operating the switch on the instrument panel. Battery voltage is supplied to the liftgate actuator through the body control module (BCM). The BCM will pulse the liftgate actuator when a release input is received through the key fob, or the instrument panel switch.
Not sure what your talking about . There is no sensor. there is a relay in the I/P fuse box LIFTGATE PCB relay . an a lift gate actuator motor inside the door . An there is a door ajar switch ,which is part of the latch mechanism. Do you have light lit on the instrument cluster - a picture of a little car with a door open , an maybe a chime sounding ?

Not

Door open light stays on

Hi, the switch on the door may be faulty, or the wire on the inside of the switch could have come off and is in contact with some metal part, thus the light remains on all the time. Locate and remove the switch to solve your problem. All the Best.

How to turn off the inside light of a mitsubishi colt 2006 if it wont turn off

Room lights have connection with the door switches as well push buttons built inside the light. So if any of the switches is not working then the light would not go off. This problem can be identified by checking your door open light in the meter panel. If it remains on then you need to detect and replace that switch. In order to detect that which switch is faulty, you open door one by one and press its on/off switch and observe if the door light in meter goes off. If it does then you need to replace that faulty switch.

You should also push light itself and you will feel its on/off push buttons.

Interior roof lights won't go off

This can be caused by a door or trunk being ajar, be sure you shut all doors firmly, if there is still no resolve check by shutting all doors then open one up and press the button (if any) on the inside of the door jam and see if it is broken or the light goes off.

Interior lights will not go off

I own a Jeep myself and the lights inside are on a timer... check your doors too.. you should see where the door closes against the pin to tell the light to go off on the timer... every door is suppose to have a square rubber piece where it hits the button... even when you're sure that you closed your doors correctly, the lights will remain on and at time the factory alarm won't arm either... check every door for it.. if you find that it's missing, then you need to make a square rubber piece and light glue it back to the door and wait a few minutes for the glue to set. Good luck

My 2003 jeep grand cherokee power windows won't go up or down and my ac is not working. the interior lights stay on. i cannot find the fuses for the windows

usually the fuses are behind the plastic panel on either the left or right side of the car near the bottom of the dash, you may have to pull it down at the top to get it to unclip from the rear panel.
As for the interior light remaining on you may have the light switch in the wrong position as there usually is 3 positions, 1. lights come on when door is opened or light off when closed, 2. light remains off even when the door is opened. 3. light is on all the time in this position.
If you have checked those and they are ok you may have a faulty switch that is located at the inside rear of the door or maybe at the front, have a good look, it is there
