Yes the cigarette lighter has a fuse in the fuse box under the dash and is marked as CIG/accs/.
This line from the box must have the +12 on it and should be availabel at the lighter central lead. check to see for short in the heater or assembly becasue the fuse had blown

Fuse box,Trying to find out what fuse s for the lighter

If you'd like to take the time to look at all the fuses and see which one is blown, that's the 1 needing replaced. Normally a cigarette lighter fuse is a 10 amp ( Red ) fuse.

How do i find out if its the cigarette lighter port or a fuse that needs replacing on my 2008 Mazda 5?

I pulled fuse 4 from the inside fuse box on the passenger side dashboard, but quickly realized it is for the rear power outlet, not the cigarette lighter outlet. The cigarette lighter outlet is fuse number 6. They are both blue 15A fuses.

My cigarette lighter, and display on my factory stereo went out at the same time. Could this be a fuse? If so, where would it be located?

On my old XL7 these features would go out, and the cruise too. The fuse was in the fuse panel, left of your left knee as you drive and was the lowest in the front most rank. Note that fuses go out for a reason, that reason is too much current is passing through them. So unless you fix the bad component, it will continue to blow out. On my XL7 the problem was a bad lighter, suppose the prior owner had kept jambing something in it. Once I replaced the lighter the fuse stayed intact.

Location of fuses for cigarett lighter, remote mirror control, and radio on a 2002 suzuki XL7. these 3 items are not working.

They are all on the same fuse, the fuse panel is next to driver's left knee on the interior wall of the vehicle. On mine that fuse was the lowest and farthest forward of the fuses. You will find that if you leave the cigarette lighter alone, the fuse will be OK.

1993 Mercury Tracer cigarette lighter

I assume that you tried the cigarette lighter itself and didnt rely solely that the charger was working properly. When you tightened the ring on caseing did you see that the wire connected on the back of the lighter was properly attatched, sometimes a good connection loosens up especially if caseing was found to be loose.. Well assuming it was properly connected you could test the circuit with either a multimeter or 12 volt test light if power is found at connection then you problem is definetly the cigarette lighter assembly itself.. I hope this was helpful...Let me know I would appreciate it
