More than likely the switch is dirty or most likely needs replaced....but sometimes the wiring has a bad spot or short..
it's always a mystery with Pontiacs..
check a repair manual for instructions..
switches can be obtained in many junkyards cheaply..
it might be cheaper to start with the turn signal/ light switch.

Pontiac grand prix high beams work but not low beams

I have a 2008 Pontiac Grandprix GXP I had hit a deer in May the repairs were made in June of this year. Here is my problem the air bag light comes on while I'm driving the car and now I have no low beam lights. I have taken the car back to where the repairs were done, cause I think the problems are from the damages. I was informed today that there's no juice from the fuse box to the low beam switch. What would cause this?

I have a 2003 grandprix and the headlights and the back lights and interior light panel don't turn on but when i put the high head lights it turns on but not the back or interior panel lights.

it could be a blown fuse, you may find that the HIGH & LOW beam lights are on separate fuses the back & panel lights could be on the same fuse as the LOW beam or they may have there own fuse, check the fuses in the fuse box........hope this helps......cheers.

2007 pontiac grand prix headlights are not working correctly. High beams work but not low beam. nothing works on automatic. Low beam bulbs have been replaced. Lights worked for one day, then back to not...

I drive a 07 Grand Prix and the low beams randomly went out. Could not get them to come back on, but all of the other lights worked (inside, parking, and high beams). found a forum online that recommended replacing the fuse/thing at location #35 in the fuse box under the hood. It worked immediately!! Got the part at Advanced Auto parts for $35 dollars.

2003 Ford Escape -- no low beams

First solution would be to check the fuses. Commonly, the low and high beams are on separate circuits. Dont forget the interior and under hood fuse boxes. Use your owners manual and the fuse cover to find the right one. In some cases, there is a separate fuse for each light, but I don't think this is the case here. Sounds like a fuse. If it is, replace it and if it goes again, take it to your Ford dealer, or a local mechanic.
