Question about 2006 Saturn L300

1 Answer

I have a service wrench light coming on both my saturn L300 on both my 2003 and 2005 models with no help from my service dealer. Charge me 75.00 to tell me that they didn't find anything wrong.Having trouble on shifting of 1st and 2nd gear when service light comes on, reset by turning cars off and cars run great until the light comes on again.I'm tired of the run around to get the right fix.

Forget the dealer
You get a check light.leave it,and go to a shop to scan it for the code. Then have them diagnose from there and repair.
You have system malfunctions on both vehicles.

2004 Saturn V4 service light with wrench inside stays on.

Yedowitz, This a service light, may have nothing to do with horn, you will have to have it scanned to see which service is being required or the service code.

If you reset the monitor when you had the oil changed, and that light is for oil change due, the light should have stayed off.
Usually the wrench warning light is a service vehicle warning, not for oil change is due.
Your owners manual should explain each warning light.
You may have to get the body computer checked out by a shop or the dealer.

My Saturn L300 2002 has the wrench service light come and it drives good

You should be able to have an auto parts store check the engine computer for trouble codes. The codes would direct a mechanic as to what to check next.

Where is the wrench button on a 2008 saturn

Wrench button? If your service tire monitor light came on, you either have a tire pressure out of spec, or you have a problem with the monitoring system. First check your tire pressures, and if that does not turn the light off contact a dealer or reputable tire store.

Car seems to be running fine but there is a Service Light with a wrench that is on and I cannot get it turned off.

Hello; The light with the wrench indicates there is a condition pending that if operation continues it may bring on the service soon light. It can only be put out with a scanner. Some auto parts stores can read codes and put the light out and not charge for it.

Service wrench light comes on and off

It is a transmission problem and is often solved by changing the fluid and filter.

Service light and radio

First problem - the wrench icon is usually not a failure light like a check engine light - it's a resettable reminder light that something (most likely an oil change) is due. When the service is done, the intent is that the light is reset, and the next time it illuminates, you'll bring the car back in, do what's required, and turn it off again. It's just a reminder is all.

Second problem - your factory stereo lost its power to the memory system, and now it's in secure mode. You need the unlock code to be able to use it again. That should be on a card in the bundle of manuals in your glovebox. If it's not, take the registration, title, and photo ID to the dealer and have them look up the number by the VIN of the car. They may charge up to an hour's labor to do this, so make sure they write it down for you and show you how to enter it, so you're not stuck paying again if you lose power to the stereo.
