It is so simple, and it has nothing to do with anti theft...yes you can not start the engine and the light is flashing crazy...and if you also have a problem with shuting the engine while driving..then I can say almost 100% that you have a problem with a crankshaft sensor (20$ part)...or maybe with the crankshaft pulley...I know because i had the same problem, and I was thinking that something is wrang with the anti theft...after searching and looking it was so simple...

Yes, keep it disconnected for at least 10 minutes. Also make sure your Battery is good. Sometimes the Anti-theft is sensitive to Battery voltage and will not connect the internal parts to allow a start.

If you have a Keypad, enter the Security Code on the Keypad and turn the Ignition Key within 5 to 10 seconds to start it.

Sounds like your anti theft engaged with the wrong key or the chip did not activate properly in you key. You can probably reset this by disconnecting the negative side of the battery for thirty seconds and trying again.

How to disconnect anti theft

It is hard to give a definite answer because I don't know which and how many wires were damaged...Anti theft can be a real HEADACHE.....You can begin by disconnecting battery cables..Use your VIN number for parts,Get new ignition with a programmed factory key from dealer only.....They probably blew certain fuses and or relays when this happened...Or maybe not..Install new ignition connect battery cables..,turn switch on just to check for bad fuses and relays...Disconnect battery again...replace any fuses blown...Connect battery again...( Each time you disconnect battery it resets the computer system and should clear anti theft codes..)..make sure all doors are unlocked by using door remote key fob....Now see if vehicle will crank..If all is done correctly it should start...However I don't know how much damage was done.....It may possibly be too much work to totally disengage anti theft....You could start with removing all fuses and relays related to anti theft but disconnect battery before...I DO NOT RECOMMEND trying to disable the theft system.....You may create more headaches that you want.......Begin by trying what I described just to be safe...!!....

Transponder keys

I would check the circuits at the key switch first. The anti-theft should only affect the starter and engine, not things like power windows.
