Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. There are a few things that can cause this to happen. Make sure you do not have a vaccum leak anywhere. It may be another spark plug or wire. It may be a clogged fuel filter or air filter. You may need a tune up, new plugs and wires, coil pack. If you have a distributor, change the cap.

Has only half the power that it used to. is it the spark plugs

Check the spark plugs and the cylinders.

Please also service the injectors by pouring an injector cleaning fluid into your fuel tank.

    That should fix the bug.

    Cheers

I have a 2003 Suzuki Aerio and it stopped running. It tries to start but can not get any fire to the spark plugs. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

The fact that your car tries to start tells me that your starter, alternator and battery are all probably good.
If none of your spark plugs are getting spark you probably have faulty spark plug wires, or distributor. Check these two things first. Make sure your wires are securely connected to distributor and plugs. To test them individually, take out the spark plug and leave it in the wire. Turn your car over and check for spark from the plug one cylinder at a time. Do not hold the plug in your hand or you will get a nice shock.

Can't find spark plugs on a 2003 suzuki aerio sx

Remove plastic gaurds on top of engine. On the head of the engine block. There are 4 black smaller rectangular boxes. They are each held down by a screw in the corner of each. Unplug the black box. Pull upward on it. The bottom of this tube is what connects to the top of the sparkplug. You will need a socket extension to get the spark plug socket that far down. When you connect with the spark plug it will seem like your shoving the socket so far down its going into the engine. Remove plugs then re assemble everything. Do one completly before going to the next as to not confuse the wiring order. I had to use medical forceps (very long medical tweezers) to get my plugs out they are in a deep shaft deep in the engine block itself. I tried needle-nose pliers and they did not go deep enough. Hope that helps.

    Spark Plugs Replacement

When you look at the engine you should see a black plastic cover over the top, you have to remove the (4) bolts that should allow you access to the top of your motor. You will then have to remove The bolts that are holding your plugwires to the top of your engine. Once removed you will then have to pull up on the wires, you will then see that your spark plugs. Note you will need at least a 6 inch extension to be able to reach the plugs. Good Luck
