It's on the air plenum box underneath the glove box. It's held in by 2 - 6 or 7mm hex head screws. When you replace it, put some bulb grease on the connector pins to keep them from corroding.

Where is the resistor switch for fan motor located?2002 grand prix pontiac

the blower motor resistor is located on the passenger side air box . you will need to remove the lower panel under the dash to gain access to the resistor . it is in the very back of the air box assembly near the fire wall . It is held in with two screws , you will need a 5.5mm or a 7mm socket (1/4 inch ) and short ext . the socket should be a swivel type .

1998 z71 4x4 truck k1500 v8 the airconditioner/ heater fan only runs on high will not run on low or medium

You need to replace the blower resistor assy. it is located down by the blower motor on the passenger side near the passengers feet. it will be held in by 3 screws. you should also check the connector for the wiring that goes to it as they have a tendency of melting. The wiring harness is available at the dealer. Purchase the resistor at the dealer and they can print off a picture of its location and or verbaly explain where it is. good luck
