More likely, it is a balance problem. Tires and drive line/U joints are typical sources. If these things check out, then you may need to take your mechanic for a ride to pinpoint the problem. Good luck!

I have a 1999 ford f 350 7.3 diesel. it drives ok but at 40 mph it vibrates pretty bad but at 45 it goes away but with a minor shake....and when i stop it vibrates i figure its the brakes being warped is...

could be out of balanced tires or possibly your suspension could be out of alignment, brake rotors being warped will only cause a vibration when pressing the brakes

My 2009 Honda CRV just started vibrating this morning driving to work on the highway. Is there a problem?

Something is causing the vibrating, which is not normal. Need more info-at what speed does it occur, vibrating in steering wheel, or ? What type of climate where you are (driving through something that sticks to the tires can cause vibrating, like road tar). Has anyone else driven the car recently? Could they (or anyone)have hit a large pot hole, curb, minor accident? All these scenarios could cause what you describe. If something was hit as listed, you would need to have the wheel alignment checked, and also suspension components for any damage.

Your tranny need to be repaired at once. The tranny is slipping. Some Lexus owners do have the similar problem including myself.

Transmission Problem in 1991 Ford Aerostar Van.

I dont think so, no. The transmission in the 4.0 L is a standalone tranny made by Ford. I BELIEVE that the 3.0 L engine uses the same transmission that is used in the Ford Ranger.

2003 envoy, low speed harmonic vibration in front end

hello have u rotated the tires front to rear then drive and see if u still have the noise and vibration if drive yes while driving slowely turn the steering wheel left to right just a small amount if the noise changes its probably a front wheel bearing if that doesn.t help drive the truck till you get the vibration then let up on the gas pedal does the noise go away if so you might have a bad u_joint but do the tires first how many miles???????
