It's a sealed transmission, you can't check / fill the transmission without performing a complete service.

My door wont close on my 2003 moutaineer


YOU PROBABLY HAVE THE LOCK ON LOCK POSITION. OPEN THE DOOR, PULL THE OUTSIDE HANDLE OF THE DOOR UP AND WITH SCREW DRIVER PULL THE LOCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DOOR TILL UNLOCK POSITION, THEN CLOSE THE DOOR.

I have a 2003 mercury moutaineer..codes..c 1234..c 1235..c 1236 is showing up. Can u tell me what they are


c1234 = left rear wheel speed circuit open or shorting
c1235 = right rear wheel speed circuit open or shorting
c1236 = low system supply voltage

Car is starting but having a little trouble turning over on my 2000 moutaineer is there a test that a shop can do is it the starter?


yep! any good shop should have an battery, alternator, starter tester, thay hook it up to the batery and do a series of test's

They say my car has two speed sencors on it but can onley find one on the end of the transmission it is a 2001 moutaineer


the other is located at the top of the rear end. hope this helps. leave comment. right in the middle.

When and How to check transmission fluid


if it is a manual transmission you have to check it from under the car by opening the fill plug. if fluid starts flowing out your full if not than you need to service it.

if it is an automatic it will be close to the firewall and hard to spot. but it is there. if you have 45,000 miles on it you should have the transmission serviced whether it is an automatic or manual.
