Question about 2000 Nissan Altima
Follow the upper radiator hose going to the engine block. you will see the housing for the thermostat. usually two bolts. first drain the anti-freeze from the radiator. remove the hose clamp from the upper radiator hose near the housing.remove the hose and bolts around the housing. pull out the round object from inside. make sure to install a new gasket and sometimes silicone to add double prevention of a leak.
