Follow the upper radiator hose going to the engine block. you will see the housing for the thermostat. usually two bolts. first drain the anti-freeze from the radiator. remove the hose clamp from the upper radiator hose near the housing.remove the hose and bolts around the housing. pull out the round object from inside. make sure to install a new gasket and sometimes silicone to add double prevention of a leak.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Need instructions to replace ac comp clutch bearing on 2000 buick la sabor 3800 engine

Yes you need special tools. You need to remove the compressor clutch and the bearing. Then you need to press the bearing off the clutch and when installing you need to set the air gap.If you are not familiar whit this repair you should take it to a repair shop.Sometimes it can be done in the car without recovering the freon and sometimes not.Depending on how much clearance there is.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Head replacement

You can do it. You will need a good set of basic hand tools. The only special tool you should need is a torque wrench. If you have never done this, I suggest buying a manual
