What kind of plugs and wires did you put in? What engine do you have? If it's the V6, these engines are sensitive to the entire ignition system - use Motocraft only, and you shouldn't have any more problems, assuming there's no other problems anywhere. If you find you need an ignition coil block, do NOY use one of the cheal aftermarket replacements! Spend the bucks to get a Motorcraft.

Codes changing why?

There are many possible causes. Make sure you have the right firing order. Look for vacuum leaks--maybe intake gasket. Read at the link below, starying around the middle of the document.

Chrisker Pacificathe check engine light was on computer code 0304, we did a tune up, change and the check engine light shows again with the same code 0304

this is a misfire in cylinder #4 of the firing order. You either have a bad spark plug or a bad Coil on Plug (COP) assuming you have a COP system. Or a bad plug wire if you have a distributor. Outside chance no fuel is flowing through the injector due to wiring, bad injector, plugged injector.

Engine runs rough. Engine light on.

Try checking the spark plug, and the spark wires, if that doesnt clear things up then try replacing the roter under the distributor cap and check the cap for any corrosen

The cylinders are numbered as on the spark pack you changed. You might have done better putting the seafoam in the tank as an injector cleaner. Not sure why you changed so many parts, you seem to know how to get the codes from test connector lead hookup and the blink pattern. You might also want to check the fuel rail pressure and the crank and cam angle sensors. Before replacing the injector, swap the #4 injector with the adjacent one and see it the code moves with the injector or stays put. If the code stays on #4, then check the injector wiring, if it moves clean or replace the injector.

Still need the codes.
Injectors can go "bad" in a couple of different ways; all they are is an electromagneticaly controlled nozzle. When the ECU "fires" the injector, it pulses a ground circuit for 4-8 milliseconds, the electromagnet powers up, the valve at the bottom of the injector opens, and the fuel shoots out, under pressure. The wire can be bad/chafed/corodded/ The electromagnet may be weak. The nozzle may be stuck. Lots of things. But, to put in an injector for a number 4 cylinder misfire (p-0304 code) would be one of the last things that I would do.

If you unplug the MAF sensor it should run using the default mapping. I'm having the same problem, but I want to figure out why it won't run with the sensor connected.
