2007 mitsubishi lancer es sw what engine oil to use

Do you have a Driver's Manual for the vehicle? It could be Synthetic Oil or Conventional oil. Either one is ok, but the synthetic is better to have installed from the beginning and continue using. If your running conventional oil and switch to Synthetic, you may cause the engine to start leaking oil. because of this change. Once you determine the type oil , a good name brand 30wt oil is fine. Change oil and filter every 3000-5000 miles depending on your driving type. Freeway or city driving

Do i check the oil running or not and what is the best type of oil to use and what weight

Most everything you would check the oil with the engine OFF. If it was running, shut it off and let it stand for a moment so the oil has time to run back into the oil pan.
As to what oil, some vehicle specifics would help to determin a good recomendation.

Motor oil type

The owner's manual should tell you what the recommended oil should be. Unless they totally screwed up on your oil viscosity, I don't think it's should be too noticeable. Perhaps they did not put the same oil filter, and put in a cheap filter too?

What type of oil do i need for a 1995 chevy silverado transfer case also if you know what gear oil should i use for the front and rear axles

The transfer case uses two types of oil one is automatic fluid the front part of differential takes gear oil 85/120 wt. both differentials I would use synthetic oil and would run 85/120 however if the rig has been well used you might want to go with a higher weight oil oil so you don't get wheel seal leaks.

Oil type for '94 Tercel

Hello Seth.
If the temperature you are running until your next oil change is due will be below 50F average they recommend 5w30.
Otherwise 10w 30 is the choice.

WICH OIL IS RECCOMENDED FOR THE JAGUAR S-TYPE 200HP 2002?

CASTROL IS VERY GOOD OIL, I RUN IT IN ALL MY CARS AND TRUCKS. YOU SHOULD USE 5W20 INSTEAD OF 5W 40, THE 5 40 IS A LITTLE THICK FOR THIS CAR.. BUT THE BEST OIL ON THE MARKET IS ROYAL PURPLE, ITS A LITTLE PRICEY BUT WELL WORTH IT..I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU.. GOOD LUCK KEITH..
