Question about 1997 Chrysler Cirrus
To remove the battery take off the left (drivers side) tire. then remover the battery cover/splash shield from the wheel well by turning the four plastic fastener's 1/4 turn counterclockwise. disconnect the negative battery cable first then the positive. remove the bolt and nut securing the battery strap and hold down bracket then remove them. if has weather package options disconnect the blanket heater electrical connector. install in reverse order

The crank sensor should be found at the front by the crank pully. it is bolted to the engine wuth a wire connection plug on it.
