I start with the wiper. The wipers zero point is not correct. Normaly the wiper goes up on the window when its starts. Mine goes down 5 centimeters before it stops and start going up. Normally zero angel and stop point are the same point but not this time. I have already changed the wiper motor. Before the wiper behavior was absolutly without control. It did not stop when I turned of the swithc it could go on for half a minute without stoping after i turned it of and where it stopt on the window was random and different each time. The thing is that now when motor is changed. I had to put the wiper in the position where the "removed wiper " was to the wiper to cover the whole window.

It is not ABS but ACS which is the antispinn system. Its only happens just after starting. Its okay when you drive in the parking out to the road. But when you leave the parking you want to get into a que moving at 50 km/h you need to acelerate. What happens is that when i hit the acelerator pedal for some action. Instead of flying of. It is blinking ACS in the displaypanel for a second. The engine nearly stops and then sudenly it is starts running again. After thet its working normally. My problem is that instead of moving at ones getting safe into the que. the engine wait a second before action is givin g me nearly a heartattach each time it happens. This morning I used the "tracking control button" placed just beside the emergency blinking lights and I avoided the problem. But I defently want to fix this ACS. In addition the wheel do not spinn its dry and nice roads so why it thinks its spinning I dont know.

The wiper motor can be reset to rest at the base of the windscreen , with the wiper in the parking setting -off, remove and set the wiper arm down to rest on the base of the windshield. test to confirm if the resting is correct or redo .
The ACS normally comes on while the car is powered and is seen on many that can be wished away if there are no issues. make sure that the lights dont come back to stay when it needs a check. otherwise in the initial momentum the sensors can interpret with an error.
Prefer to leave if off as the full unit cost and there is no point to change unless it shows up in a technical failure.
Even many forums have reported this and responded to go on..

To adjust the wipers to fix just loss the arm and moving the arms horizontally after to turn off the switch. We assuming that in this point, the arms are in the zero angle; adjust the arms and turn on to test it.

About ABS light warning, keep in mind that if this stay on, this isn't one fuse problem, the fuse don't cut the light and nothing else helps, so, you will need to have a look on the ABS module.

Its possible that you need scanned or read the fault codes in the ABS module or ( I have heard ) that the problem was resolved when owners sending my module to: and on return everything worked perfectly; what is the secret, we dont know.

Hope helps.

I replaced a wiper motor on a 2003 cavalier. After replacing it. The wiper arms swing down before going up across the windshield.I want to know what do in need to adjust so the wipers work correctly.

The part that is attached to the wiper motor is in the wrong location. Remove the nut or bolt that attached the wiper transmission to the motor and remove the short arm from the wiper motor. Turn the wiper motor on and then off. wait until it stops moving. Set the wiper arms to the correct "home" position. Reattach the wiper transmission arm to the wiper motor.

Wipers stop in the middle of my wishield, will not park properly

Sorry , no adjustment .
Wiper/Washer System Components
The Wiper / Washer System consists of the following components:
• Windshield wiper / washer switch
• Windshield wiper system module / motor
• Windshield washer fluid pump
• Windshield washer fluid level switch
• WPR 25A fuse
Wiper / Washer System Operation
The windshield wiper motor module is part of the windshield wiper motor cover and controls the wiper motor operation. The windshield wiper motor is a 2 speed motor. Windshield wiper DELAY operation is a low speed wiper motor function with a variable delay interval between the wipe cycles. The DELAY interval is controlled through a series of resistors within the wiper / washer switch.
Park Position Operation
When the windshield wiper / washer switch is turned to the OFF position while the wiper motor is somewhere in mid-cycle, the wiper motor module will continue to operate the wiper motor until the wipers reach the park position. If the ignition is turned off while the wipers are in mid-cycle, the wipers will stop immediately where they are. The wipers will park the next time the ignition is cycled to the ON position.

95 windstar, replaced the wiper transmission and now the windshield wipers wont park in the proper position.brought it to a mechanic and he said it was the wiper control switch.replaced that, he was...

simple actually- 1- on wiper arms- flip up cap on end- remove nut, 2 using a screw driver and small wood block lift arms off driver screw.3 turn key on cycle wipers- turn off 4- reattach arms in correct position and retighten-., test with arms up- not on glass- is still wrong- the link from wiper motor to cross arm wrong- - buy a HAYES repair manual- will show how to remove cowl cover yourself- is easy , then follow instuctions in manual to correct link

1999 plymouth voyager front windshield wipers not working proper

Sure pull the cover off the arm at the base(by the bottom of the windshiel) under that you will find a bolt. Unbolt the arm and pull it off then adjust both arms so that they do not entangle at the high point. You can turn on the wipers and when they reach the high end quickly shut off ignition they will stop at this position so you can adjust them, This is what we would do at the shop for about 200 bucks. Take your time and be sure to tighten everything up when you're don and you will do great. Have fun.

Windsheild wipers will stop working and start up

jeryy thats a search operation sounds like broken wire or bad connection within the harness check on both ends then the rest of the wire till you find it sorry wish it was a little easier than that if you have ohm meter you can take connector loose and chack each wire for continuity on the circuit thats a little easier either way pain in **** job good luck charlie
