On most transmissions there's not a drain plug. The entire pan has to be unbolted and the filter is above the pan. It's a messy job. Once you get most of them loosened the fluid will drai past the gasket. When youbuy new fluid get filter and new gasket.

Not sure how to disconnect transmission line from the radiator?

there are two lines that connect to the radiator. they are tubes and have special nuts to take loose. u can use open end wrench but be careful not to round the nuts off. have a pail to let the tubes drain into so you don't spill trans. fluid.

Where is the oil drain plug on my 2003 buick lesabre?

Should be directly below the engine at the oil drain pan. It should be a larger drain bolt that screws into the oil drain pan.

The transmission pan may be next to it but won't have a drain plug. The transmission fluid pan has several small bolts that hold it on and the whole pan has to be dropped to change that fluid.

Good luck on finding hte oil drain plug for the 2003 Buick LeSabre.

Hi i have a 93 buick lesabre that is leaking atf badly seems to be comming from right where the motor and transmisson join together im thinking torque converter seal and im wondering how difficult a job...

I worked on buicks at a dealer for 15 years and never saw a torque converter seal leaking...if its trans fluid that leaking i would suspect a front pump seal in the trans,If is not trans fluid make sure its not the back of the intake manifold leaking down the bellhousing seaming to leak from the trans. ..If oil maybe rear main seal... No special tools needed really just make sure you support the engine safely if you are going to remove the trans.....

1993 Buick Lesabre ...........antenna won't stop running and it's draining the battery.....can't find another motor assembly

For now would unplug it till you are able to find one.Sometimes all it is just the cable in the antenna mast that breaks and just may only require a new antenna to be installed and not the complete motor.

1993 Buick LeSabre transmission problem

No, the modulator on a 4t60e only will adjust shift feel, not shift points. Does the trans not shift up or go it to neutral instead of 2nd? Does you speedo work? The pcm needs a speed input to shift the trans. You might have a bad VSS

1993 Buick LeSabre is missing at 50 to 60 mph

I think the fuel filter may be starting to plug up, also change the plugs and plug wires, they are due at 100,000 miles.
