Question about 2003 Honda Civic
There is a pressure switch in the expansion tank that lets the compressor know there is freon and it is safe to turn on. It can be checked easily with a multimeter set on ohms. If you get zero ohms the switch is closed and that isn't your problem. If it shows infinity, the switch is not made. This could mean a bad switch or low freon.
