Amp fuse 30a keep blowing

You have possibly melted a couple of wires together along the radio circuit. Also the radio unit itself has 1 or more protection fuses actually inside the unit that have blown, usually at back of unit in little bay near the wire clusters.
Check your relays too, a blow out through jump starting can do all sorts of little burn-outs.

Try those steps let me know what you come up with and ill be able to give you better info. thanx, rick.

30amp AM 2 fuse blows as soon you turn on the key & car will not start

This is common about this time on these Camrys. I own three. The AM2 fuse is blowing because a coil, capacitor, or supressor has gone bad in the distributor. To test this disconnect the two wire connectors to the distributor. Replace the AM2 fuse. Turn the ignition. If the fuse doesn't blow. The distributor.

It blow when i put a new fuse in

There is a short in the circuit corresponding to the fuse. Check every electrical component in the circuit and disconnect it. Put in a new fuse. Connect each component, one at a time, back into the circuit and check the fuse each time. Eventually you will establish which component is causing the short circuit. If the fuse blows before you can put a component back into the circuit for the first time then is sounds like some insulation on the supply wire has broken down and is allowing contact with the body of the car creating a short circuit. Check all the wiring for this circuit and replace or wrap any bared wire in insulating tape.

If you can unplug the compressor and put the switch in run forever and it doesnt blow then your compressor has a short in it and the car wash had nothing to do with this unless you can find water in the fuse block or relay block

I have a 1998 chevy blazer (s-10) 4.3L 4x4 it keeps blowing the #15 (10amp) 4wd fuse, if you put a 10 amp fuse in it will blow the minute you turn it on ,then we put a 15 amp in it seems to do it when you...

check transfer case electrical switch, sometime if it bad it will also blow the fuse. don't recommend you put any higher fuse than recommend, If the fuse blow there is a short some where and by putting higher amp fuse you might short or burn something else beside the fuse. if that check out than check your transfer case motor, might lock up and not allowing the motor to turn instead it short the fuse. don't drive the car, just leave it in park, put correct fuse amp back in and unplug transfer case electric switch and turn the key on (dont start the car) and see if the fuse blow; if not plug it back in and see if it blow the fuse. if that is not the case, unplug transfer case wire, and do the same and see if it blow the fuse.

200 Cougar blowing headlight fuses

First look for a short or where a wire is exposed and fix that with electrical tape.

If you can not find it, then often I will put a Re-set fuse that does not blow but resets and costs about $5 at Autozone.

Good luck, J

96 jeep cherokee, replace cps and the engine control fuse

The guy at the garage today, said he went out and put a fuse in it and it started right up. Thats all he did for now. I going to have a closer look on the weekend. But, as before when I went 1/2 mile it would burn the fuse again. We will have to see if it does again, I espect it will. Any idea?
