In this cars the most common is the fan relay.it is located down to the right, when you are in front of the car, before you change it ,checck the connector, some times they melt.

There is a fuse for the fan itself. check the fuse and see if the metal plate inside the plastic surrounding is broken or popped kind of like a blown light bulb. if the fuse is ok you will need to replace the heater fan.

the fuse box location is usually on the drivers side dashboard where you can only see it when your door is open. remove the panel to see the fuses and there will be a diagram for which fuse is what. use pliers to pull the fuse out and put them back in. sometimes theres a little plastic tool that they put in there but is usually easier to use pliers.

2004 grand caravan: heat but fan wont push air

Need to remove fan and test it on a bench by connecting it directly to a car battery. Removing items like this buried in the dash takes a long time, and its tricky to put back together.

Why does the heater on my 2002 dodge grand caravan only work in the back of my van?

change thermostat, how fresh is your 50/50 coolant, 50% water is what gives you heat, with thermostat, are all heat controls in correct position ? any obstructions in vent hoses, has debris fallen into defroster vents etc., are rad hoses in good condition ? weak hoses collapse and prevent flow. good luck

I do not get any heat in the rear of my 2002 Dodge Grand caravan sport. The front of van takes a long time to heat up but, heat will work after a long time. Is my rear heater core bad?

Uncover it and see if it is hot if it does your fan or switch needs replacing if it's cold and the engine is hot. diconnect hoses when ciold and put them in bucket and have someone start car and put on rear heat if water flows flush out core or replace if it doesn't flow switch is not opening vale or valve bad. I would think there is no valve and there is hot water to the unit all the time. There my be a door that opens and closes like the front heating system12_12_2011_4_57_51_pm.jpg

Air conditioner stop blowing in 2002 Dodge Caravan can feel cool air and vents when traveling down highway with ac power on. Just won't blow out

There is as blower motor resistor which is part of what makes your fan blow. So your fan isnt blowing but everything else works right? Thats what I would look @ first.

If you are looking for the fan blower resistor, it is located behind the glove box. No tools need to get to it and a nut driver to remove the 2 screws to replace it. A 20$ part.

Heater fan regulation

2002 Grand Caravan. The rear heater also has a resistor for the fan speed control.(3 speed) It is located under the rear passenger side plastic cover. You can take off the rear tail gate lower plastic piece and this will let you pull out the side panel. You can reach in and take out the two screws that hold in the resistor and unhook the wiring adapter. You do not have to take off the whole side panel as you can reach in from the back. The resistor unit can be bought at you local dodge dealer.
