The problem with the 6.0 it could be many things and is very hard to tell what it is without an enhanced code reader.maybe glow plug system if you ether it and stays running. or egr stuck open, or the oil pressure sending unit (high pressure system) good luck

Engine turns but won't start

cars have an inline filter on them whether its gas or diesel..some of these filters have a backpressure valve in them that can actually stick shut especially in cold weather..if its below 30 outside you need to add some cetane booster to the fuel.. it costs a bit but your fuel wont jell up in the lines..diesels require a bit more attention to be operated in colder weather..I had a trucks fuel system freeze solid at 3am on an overnite run in northern Illinois and it left me completely stranded in below zero tems 30 miles from the closest only saving grace was my celphone..after calling my boss who showed up 12 hours later to find the truck empty and locked up..(he said to have the cops take me to a 24 hour restaunt and wait until he came to pick me up..the truck was towed to a garage and heated up to thaw those lines..we never ran it without fuel treatment after that..)

2006 Santa Fe loss of power on accelerating, engine shudders then stalls and has to be towed away

Check the fuel filler cap is correct and venting as it should . Check for blockage in the fuel line pick -up in the tank as it is a fine metal filter that rusts and blocks the fuel flow to the pump.. I take it that by you statement of diesel fuel solenoid that it is a diesel engine. To that point the fuel tank runs at an elevated temperature and when cooling gets water condensation in the tank. This promotes moss growth which gets through filters and generally reduces performance of pumps and injectors.. However it will block the pick -up filter as I said. If you find this to be the case the moss is treatable with compounds put in the tank. To prevent a re-occurrence simply keep the tank full and never less than 1/2 full. NO air space = no condensation.= no moss.

1994 chevy 3500 6.9 diesel you drive it acs like running out of fuel half to bleed lines to get air out to start back up

sounds like u got a clogged fuel filter, or you have got a fuel line somewhere that is sucking air in, could be anywhere from the pump back to the tank, if that shows no luck, get a piece of clear hose and put that just before the pump and look for bubbles, the slightest of bubbles will cause it do run rough and stall
failing this and there is no air bubbles i would say your injector pump needs rebuilding but this is rather unlikely unless u have got a fair few miles on it

hope this helps

Gasoline in a diesel tank

Hi,Did you start the vehicle after you put the gas in the tank? A drain plug is fitted underneath the tank, drain the tank of gas then fill it half way or more it may run a little sluggish at firs but the amount of diesel to gas ratio will mean it will do no harm.Hope this helps.

What to do when you put diesel in a 2001 toyota corolla

Yes, you must drain the tank. Running with diesel may damage the engine and the catalytic converter. The fuel line and filter should also be cleared of diesel.

This car has a cover over the fuel tank underneath, and the service manual I have shows no drain plug on the bottom of the tank, so it will have to be drained at the top by removing the fuel pump, or by disconnecting the fuel line at the engine and running the pump until it is dry.

You may wish to hand this job to a mechanic. Try a mobile mechanic van that comes to you so the car does not have to be towed.

F150 ignition (won't Start)

If it turns over but just won't fire and the timing sounds fine when it does run you might consider your ignition switch.  Does it sound like it wants to fire but only just when you let go of the key?
