It means that one of the four brake pad sensors is indicating a low thickness of the brake pad at one or more wheels, all you can do is get the wheelspulled and the brakes inspected, many tire shops will waive the brake inspection cost if you let them do whatever work is needed, the price can vary from about $150 per axle to about $250, so if u need front and rear brakes and new rotors u could be looking at about $500+

What would break my timing cover ,but the car still run

Your may have timing belt get loose / wear down , but still work. Observe your time belt and check your maintenance record. Don't wait any longer. An abnormal timing belt will led your car to fatal damage.

My mercedes E320 write in the display that i shall visit workshop because of break lining wear, is it dangerous to drive the car now? and what is exactly break lining wear?

Your car has a sensor on the brake components which detects when there is low brake life. Assuming your brake system is functioning normally; there will be no initial safety hazard/danger. You should have a professional inspect brakes ASAP because if you wait too long there may be additional damage that could have been avoided with a more expedited inspection.

Service warning messages

did you change the brake pad wear sensors in the front and rear pads as well? you may have a bad connection or broken wire to the wear sensors on one of the wheels. sometimes there is a sensor on each wheel and sometimes just 1 front side and 1 rear side, the sensor has a single wire and they slide into the inside brake pads, if your brakes wear down to the point of hitting this sensor you need to replace it and they are pretty cheap about $25 for all four you may just try changing them first before spending $80 at the dealer for an hour diagnosis, if you figure anything out let me know so i can help, good luck and please rate this -Jeff
