1994 Ford Econovan: drain coolant

I'm starting to feel completely stupid, but I currently trying to change the coolant in my 1994 Econovan, I can't seem to find the plug to drain the coolant out of the radiator. Looking around and feeling around everywhere, looked through the manual, but I just can't find it doesn't seem to be where the diagram in the manual says it should be...can anyone give me a more detailed description as to how to drain the coolant?
