The signal and fog lamps are integrated with the bumper. The procedure to replace this light bulbs is as follows:--- 1) For replacing left side bulb/lamp turn your wheels to the maximum left . 2) You will see the plastic shied inside the arch. 3) The shield is attached by plastic clips.Remove that plastic clips and shield will be loose. 4) Use flat screwdriver to pull hat first, then the whole clip can be removed with fingers.Once all six clips pulled out, plastic shield will almost fall by itself . 5) You can now access the signal and fog lamps for replacement. -------------------------- more details:--- According to my 04 CTS Service Manual "Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement" involves removing the front facia. But since the turn signals are down by the fog lamps. To get to the fog lamps you just need to remove the lower air deflector. But still i will give you full details for exact replacement. -------- Raise and support the vehicle.Remove the push-pin retainers on the air deflector to allow access to fascia extension retainers.Open the hood.Remove the push-pin retainers that secure the appropriate side of the grille and fascia to the upper tie bar.Remove the first push-pin retainer past the center in order to allow the grille to flex. Remove the front fascia extension.Remove the bolt (2) that secures the front fascia to the fender.Loosen the bolt (1) that attaches the front fascia to the fender.Pull the front fascia forward to align the fascia studs with enlarged portion of the hole within the key slot in the fender.Gently pull the front fascia downward to disengage it from the front fender. Remove the 3 bolts that secure the headlamp to the vehicle.Disengage headlamp washer hose, if equipped. Important: A high amount of force is necessary to perform the next step.Pull the headlamp straight forward to disengage the headlamp ball stud from the fender socket.Reach behind the headlamp to disconnect the headlamp electrical connector.Pull the top part of the front fascia and grille assembly forward only far enough to remove the headlamp assembly from the vehicle.Remove the headlamp assembly from the vehicle.Remove the headlamp bulb cover from the headlamp assembly.Remove the headlamp bulb from the headlamp assembly. --------

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

Temp gauge not working 2004 cadillac cts

It would have to be on a scanner to see if the PCM is sending a signal(most likely is, other gauges working). Instrument panel gauges do go bad. And they can be replaced.

How to change front turn signal bulb in Cadillac cts

KMTANNER is correct for the 2003-2007 CTS. For the 2008+ CTS, you need to remove the bumper. The bumper comes off fairly easy, but there are a 2 hidden screws. Look for the youtube video on removing the bumper. I have a 2004 and 2009 CTS. I did both.

Need to replace rt turn signal lamp on 2005 cts

I just replaced front turn signal bulb. Since all of them (signal and fog lamps) are integrated with the bumper, you have to do that from beneath. First ,turn your wheels to the max right.Inside the arch you'll see that it is covered by plastic shield. You will have to remove plastic clips on the sides of that shield. There are six of them and they are clearly visible.Be careful not to brake clips.Use flat screwdriver to pull hat first, then the whole clip can be removed with fingers.Once all six clips pulled out, plastic shield will almost fall by itself - no efforts needed to detach it. That's it - you've got the access to your signal and fog lamps.

Removing the tire and blocking the front end first with jack stands makes the access much better

2004 CTS Cadillac front passenger turn signal bulb is out.

Actually no you don't. Crank your steering wheel all the way to the right so yo have the maxumum clearance for your hands and arms in the front of the wheel well. Remove the plastic clips that hold the wheel well splash guard and pull it back enough to allow access to the interior of your bumper.
Replace bulbs as needed.
Yes, a jack is nice and makes it a touch easier to access, but I did this in an AutoZone parking lot during a cross country road trip.
5 mins tops to complete.

Theft system locked

To get the key out; look under the steering wheel for a plastic flat head screw. untwist it and then push the spring in and your key will be free. Then, go to your fuse box and remove the main fuses and you will hear the doors unlock when the system reset itself. Plug them back in and start your car. This just happened to me... seems the only things that were working were the navigation screen, headlights, fog lights, and reading light on the inside. Dash board was all dark except the engine light.

The black plastic grille around the fog lamp can be removed without tools. If you look through the slats, you'll see 5 or 6 "clips" that can be GENTLY released with your finger. Once the grille is out (which is about 4 inches high by about 14 inches long), you'll see that the fog lamp assembly can be removed with 3 screws. Simpler than you probably thought!
