My van will cut off while I am driving, I have fuel and recently replaced both batteries, starter, fuel pump and fuel filter. But it is acting as though it is not getting fuel. Is there 2 fuel pumps?

There is only one fuel pump, but I believe you have a mechanical fuel pump. These systems have been known to suffer from vapor lock when temperatures are high and/or when driving uphill. Do these conditions correlate with the symptoms? Also, can you tell me if your check engine light is on?

Car wont crank unless pop-started.

I would have that starter tested. It could be intermittently engaging and disengaging. This can happen to the starter drive. I`m not sure why it cuts out after you jump start it,since the alternator takes over after cranking the engine. Unless the starter drive is sticking. My other thoughts are on a fuel pump problem.Or fuel problem period such as an obstruction of gas getting to the engine. Fuel filter maybe or fuel pump relay!

The 04 van will occasionally act as if it is running out of gas and die. Will restart after sitting for a short while.

It could be a weak pump. It could be pretty old if you haven't changed it recently. To be sure, have the fuel pressure checked. Filters don't usually clog up and then start flowing again; once done, they're done.

2001 ford windstar, van has been setting for a year, got my license back and went to start the van, no fuel pump noise, replaced fuel pump, started just fine drove it around for a day parked it now wo

Can you hear the fuel pump run, if not it may have failed again. I have seen new fuel pumps last a day or two and then fail. If your pump is working then replace the fuel filter. Anytime you open the fuel system, you should replace the filter.

1995 jeep keeps cutting out is this what happens when a fuel pump is bad

The parts which determine whether or not a vehicle "turns over" are the battery, starter and alternator (if there is one). The fuel pump has nothing at all whatever to do with that. As for the "cutting out", that could be a fuel pump or even a fuel filter problem. Could also be the carb or deterioration in the gas tank. Good luck. . .

1992 Dodge Grand Caravan engine failure

There is not fuse for pump but a relay in the relay block. I do suggest jumping to see if pump turns on. Test voltage from ECM if needed. If voltage is to pump, then pump is shot. If not voltage, relay may be bad

So, if i can't replace the selonoide what i need to do?

solenoid is part of the starter. If the battery is able to hold a charge under load then starter should crank engine. If you get a clicking noise as you turn the key, the battery is bad....replace battery. If the lights or radio will power up and work with the battery you have, then the starter is bad...replace starter.
3 reasons a car or van won't run...

1. No spark( battery problem)
2. No fuel reaching cylinders( check fuel pump, filter, etc...)
3. No compression in cylinders(due to worn piston rings, bad
valves)

Hope this helps.

2002 chevy express fuel pump/crank sensor?? not starting

i had a similar problem and called the dealer during lunch hour. i talked to a mechanic, the distributor in these vehicles is plastic, and is prone to cracking.not just the cap but the body also, I have been taking the cap off and wiping the moisture out of the cap. or replacing the cap but the problem is I need a new distributor. just a cheep way to get rolling is cleaning the inside of the cap, especially when it is very damp or the outside temp changes alot during the day. good luck.
