Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country
The EGR valve is located near the Alternator. You will need to jack up the passenger side, remove the wheel, Remove the splash shield, and then remove the serpentine belt. check to see that there is a belt routing guide under the hood. If not make your own so you know how to put the belt back on.
With the belt off you can remove the alternator (i would recommend disconnecting the battery to eliminate the possibility of grounding the power cable to the alternator). There will be one bolt that is kind of hidden behind where the a/c lines are routed to the compressor. Once the alternator is out of the way you can then remove the two bolts holding the EGR to the side of the head.
