SOURCE: where is thermostat on 2001 chevy venture van with v6 engine

under the intake plenum, which will have to be removed before you can access the thermostat.
I suggest having it done by a garage mechanic.

How do I put a 99 Chevy Venture van into neutral column shifter and I do not have an ignition key is there a neutral bypass switch like if I had a center console shifter

There is often a safety interlock that is disabled by switching on the ignition and pressing the brake pedal.

As there is no key it will be necessary to energise the vehicle electrics manually using a jumper lead or similar.

2004 Chevy Venture van - Trans shifter cable is popping off. What is most likely the cause, the cable head is worn or the ball on the shift lever is worn down ? What wears out ? Joe

The cable wears out. The head just wont hold on to the ball anymore. I hvae tried different things to get it to stay on, none worked for long. Always ended up replacing the cable.

2004 Chevy Venture will not shift into gear

Had neighbor look at this same problem. Turned out the shifter cable linkage near the top of transmission had popped off. They popped it back on and works but a bushing in the clip probably needs replaced. The neighbor rewched over engined top between firewall and engine and popped it back on.
Works fine but does needs a clip/bushing part and auto parts store has to get from Chevy

Have a 2004 Chevy Venture van with faulty power door locks. They will lock with the switch but will not unlock with the switch. Need schematics of the power door lock system. Thanks.

I don't have a solution, but a related problem. Our 2004 Chevy Venture power door locks are cycling (locking/unlocking) on their own while we are driving. This coincides with our remote keyless entry losing its effectiveness. I tried replacing the battery on the remote, but to no avail.

Hood latch

Try spraying the latch mechanism with WD-40 or similar light oil and operating the release cable a number of times. Check the condition of the release cable if nothing happens. The latch itself may have a broken spring due to the low temps.
