They should be located on the exhaust pipe close to the engine. Between the catalytic converter and the headers.

I see a lot of answers for the sport trac. What about the explorer sport SUV? I need to find the pcv and the fuel filter on a 2002.


Fuel filter: follow the fuel lines, you will find it.
PCV: is always on the engine and either has a hose with a 90* boot on it or it has a spring a cap and the cap usually says PCV. It's always on top of the engine.

Engine location of the PVC on a 2004 ford explorer sport trac


Your vehicle is equipped with a "heated PCV" It is located on the back of the intake manifold and has coolant lines attached to it. It must be unbolted from the manifold. (See picture)

Why is my 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Engine shaking when idling at a red light the engine light is turned on?


it has a miss, the light will have a trouble code stored with it that will tell u which cylinder is missing, have it tested.
