I am assuming it's a standard. Your clutch and pressure plate are slipping. Check to see if the clutch can be adjusted , if not they have to be replaced

Hi i have a mazda 323 it goes alright around town and stuff but once its on a trip to somewhere it starts losing power like the revs go really high but the ks stay at about 20ks and it'll start surging its...

From what you are describing (and it sounds like you have an AUTOMATIC transmission), it is downshifting to a lower gear because it is losing power.
Have you changed the fuel filter lately? (Guessing not.) Do that first.
Once you have changed the fuel filter, see if it's better. If not, move on to troubleshoot fuel delivery issues to make sure there isn't contaminant in your fuel or an obstruction somewhere.
Once you have eliminated that, move on to the transmission. Have you replaced the fuel and filter in it within the last 30,000 miles? No? DO THAT.
Now, if your 323 has the MANUAL transmission, the clutch is slipping... but I'd still recommend checking all of the other stuff above, just to preserve your vehicle. Best of luck to you!

Clutch slipping

it could very well be a clutch slipping, make sure you check to be sure it doesnt have a driveshaft joint broken first

either your rear driveshaft is missing, your rear axle is pooched. the same transmission drives both ends.

I have a 2003 mazda rx8 its a manuel anyway il be driving in 5th gear and il put my foot down and the rev needle will shoot up and then drop back down while my speed

Yes it is the clutch slipping, in high gear the greatest load is put on the clutch so that is when they slip the most.

When i put the car in drive, it doesnt feel like it engages and then when i go to drive it just moves a little bit then revs out, its like the gears are slipping

transmission failure, check fluid levels or service (oil filter change). This may or may not work and you may need the transmission replaced!!

The transmission under hard acleration hesitates 99 dodge dieasel

It sounds to me that the clutch material in the transmission might be breaking down. Before too long I would have the transmission rebuilt or replaced. If you wait too much longer the transmission will start to slip and pretty soon you will have NO gears but first and reverse.

Slipped timing belt

First off, if it slipped, you desparately need a new belt.

You may be able to locate timing marks on the cam gear and crankshaft pulley but you would be better off buying the Haynes or Chilton repair manuals to avoid mistakes.
Unless your engine is a 'non-interference' engine, you may end up trashing at least the valves if not the entire head if you don't get it right.
Most engines can tolerate a tooth off in either direction without damage.
My summer toy car, an '87 Bertone, can run this way but it is really weird- either no revs and pulls like a tractor or wild revs with no torque.
