Most people change their oil every 3000-3500 miles. Alot of late model cars are recommended to change every 5000 miles. I would do it every 3000 miles for regular oil & every 5000 if you use synthetic oil.
Hello: At the time your owners manual was printed the oil change recommendation was 7500 miles, BUT that was under ideal driving conditions. (NOBODY drives a car under those conditions) If tour car has a four cylinder engine I would recommend between 3,000 to 4,000 miles. I have a 2001 Saturn with 202000 miles, bought new, use Castrol 10W30 Castrol oil have changed it every 3000 miles my self and have records to prove it. The engine still does not use or leak any oil.
It depends on what kind of oil are you use.Better quality oil lasts longer(5000 miles). If you drive on cheap oil you better change it earlier (3000 miles).
well its always recommended every 3000 miles to change the oil if you are using mobil1 full synthetic oil then every 5000 miles transmission i recommend every 45000 miles 60000 mile should be radiator fluid, power steering, fuel filter if trans hasnt been done then transmission
