HI. Thisvehicle only requires a maximum of 750 cranking Amps; ((640 Cold)). A regular name brand Gold-Duralast 12 volt cell will be sufficient for this vehicles needs.
WHEN YOU GO TO AUTO PARTS STORES BUY A BATTERY. THEY WILL LOOK UP WHAT BATTERY SIZE AND COLD CRANKING AMPS YOU NEED. ALL THEY NEED TO KNOW IS YOUR ENGINE SIZE AND TYPE OF FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM.THEN THEY LOOK UP WHAT YOU NEED.
Check battery in the remote this is usually the first problem. You can buy the battery at Best Buy or any place that sales watch sized battery's but first remove the bottom of the remote and read what size battery you need it show what it is on the battery. These battery's are around $5-8 bucks.
the GROUP number should be on the top or side of battery as well as the CCA (cold cranking amps) you want to buy a battery that has at least the same or more CCAs. if you cant find the right size battery any auto parts store should be able to look it up in a catalog.the GROUP # determines the height,width,and overall size and terminal locations.some common group sizes are 24,24f,75,78,58R etc.hope this helps you.
your cars battery might only need charging or battery acid replacement, but if you'd realy wish to buy new one, buy one with the same size and voltage and amps as the one you have right now, or you could buy a battery with the same voltage with a higher amppere-hour (Ah) rating!
I don't know the exact size of the OEM battery's amp rating, but that seems low compared to most batteries. At the minimum, you want probably 600 CCA (it's a decent-sized car with a lot of electronics in it), so I wouldn't buy below that rating, especially if you live where it gets cold in the winter (that's where you really need the higher CCA ratings).
