Question about 2002 Land Rover Discovery Series II

I have condensation leaking from the climate control unit behind the dash and it forms a puddle on the passenger side after having the climate control on for about 30min. Is there a drain or something that could be plugged up?

Most likely its a heater core, you might have to remove the dash.

    Just condensation, no coolant leaking.

All 3 are possible problems. A fuse is most likely the problem unless something got spilled leaked its way into the unit. Check all the fuses with a test light first before you try and replace the unit

Could the liquid be coolant? If so, you likely have a broken heater core. Or... it could be condensate from the a/c evaporator is not exiting via the hose that is designed to take it out of the car (ever notice how a puddle forms under a car that has the a/c on?). If your car doesn't have the puddle, it's because a bug made a nest in that tube (or some other blockage) and the water is overflowing and coming into the cabin.

Is it leaking inside the car? If so then it is more than likely the heater core is leaking antifreeze. You will need to replace the heater core under the dash.

Heat blows hot on passenger side but cool on driver's side

Most likely it is the climate control unit. Had the same issue with my 99 Regal, replaced the climate control unit and haven't had any issues since. Might try Digital Dash Solutions on eBay, they will ship you a refurb at1/3 price of buying from a dealer if they have one available. If not, they also have a climate control repair service. I'm not certain that they fix Pontiac products, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Water leak inside on passenger side from under the dash, i think its from the heater hose or something, its draining the radiator 1995 cadillac deville

Your heater core is leaking, and when it does, it drains into the foot well passenger side. Best case would be a hose that is leaking, worst case is the core itself. Replacing the core is a big job.

Rain is leaking into the passenger side floor from under the dash

there may be some body rust around the window seal or in the air intake area, depending on your climate, condensation can sometimes drip of the AC system onto your feet

Water leaking from passenger side firewall.i have a big puddle in the backseat of the car. is there anything i can try before the dash needs to be pulled out, i dont really have the money at the mo for...

there is a drain from the a/c housing that runs the water condensation to the outside of the vehicle, it should be on the lower passenger side of the firewall under the hood. sometimes these will clog with dirt and debris causing the condensed water from the evaporator core to build up and drain on the passenger floorboard. if it is coolant you are seeing then u have to replace the heater core.

How can I fix

This is either an out of phase issue or a temperature control blend door or blend door motor actuator problem, it can also be the climate control module in the dash, 1st try disconnecting the battery for 5 min's to re-sync the climate control module, if this fails u will need to find out what blend door is the problem or if they are ok replace the automatic climate control module in the dash

leaking heater core or hose that feeds it. look for hoses that pass thru the firewall to passenger compartment. Most times the hose is clamped to a pipe at the firewall so you may just need a hose
