I have a 1995 chevy van g20 5.7 8 cylinder the van burns a lot of gas, a rich gas smell coming from thr tail pipe. when i stop the van and i accelerate again i get a flat spot. i put the van in drive and...

You might have a shorted injector driver. Disconnect the injector harness from that cylinder and connect a noid light or a high impedance test light and start the engine. If the light stays on instead of blinking, then the injector driver in the PCM is shorted and replacement will be required.

Replace outter axle bearing on 1995 chevy g20 van?

Hi:
The axle must be pulled to change that bearing. This involves taking the differential cover off, to release the axle, then pulling the axle out, etc.

It should be located on the right hand side fender wall on most Chevrolet / GMC Vans. Another location it may be under your hood on one of the fender walls (these is more common with Dodge)
