Instructions for replacing the clutch in my 1995 Honda Passport.`
I am an HVAC technician, and consider myself mechanically enclined. The clutch has went completely out in my 1995 Honda Passport. I am looking to see if anyone can give me step-by-step instructions on how to remove the old one and install the new one. I'll also need a list of the tools that required to complete the job. Hopefully I am not asking too much.

Only if the system is leaking, and it is brake fluid into the master cylinder for the manual clutch. If the clutch hydraulic system is leaking either the master or slave has failed, and there should be a fluid stain trail somewhere. You may well be able to do this type of repair yourself with a few tools and an afternoon, or it could be damn near impossible without a lift. I would look on ebay for new replacement parts before I bought from a dealer.
I HERE YOU BROTHER, I TYPICALLY DO ALL MY OWN WORK BUT THIS ONES FOR THE CERTIFIED MECHANICS. I ALSO LAID UNDER MY PASSPORT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT. I FINALLY WENT AND GOT A QUOTE FROM MY MECHANIC WHO I DO USE FROM TIME TO TIME. $137.26 JUST LABOR , I HAD ALREADY PURCHASED THE STARTER. BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT! I PICKED IT UP AND HE TOLD ME (GET THAT THING OUTA HERE JOKINGLY) IT ENDED UP TAKING HIM AND HIS CREW 6.5 HOURS TO COMPLETE THE JOB. MY MECHANIC HAS ALWAYS HELD TRUE TO HIS WORD SO I WAS CHARGED EXACTLY WHAT I HAD BEEN QUOTED. THEY BROKE OFF BOLTS , TORE UP TOOLS , AND EVEN HAD TO USE A CUTTING TORCH. Very simple job to do for the DIY mechanic, best way to get at the starter is from underneath the car, disconnect the live battery terminal, very important! remove the wiring harness from the starter and undo the three locating bolts that secure the starter to the gearbox, give it a wiggle and it should come free!
Make sure that the live feed off the battery i disconnected! there are some times an engine to bulk head earth starp located on one of the bolts, ensure that this goes back on!
Tool required, 10mm spanner, 13mm sockets etc.
Fill the clutch reservoir with new brake fluid and kneel down beside the car, reach in with your hand and pump the clutch pedal up and down until it starts to return on it's own. Check the reservoir level, hop in the car and pump the pedal about twenty times with you foot, the clutch will self bleed and you'll be able to shift. If there is a leak somewhere, this problem will reoccur until the cause of the leak is fixed.
That clutch can bled by using the bleed screw located just aft of the engine/tranny union where the clutch line enters the tranny. Loosen the screw and also loosen the cap on the hydraulic clutch reservoir. watch for fluid trickling out from the transmission end of the line, when this is confirmed, than close the bleed screw, cover the resevoir, make sure theres enough fluid, and pump on the clutch pedal a few times. You can repeat these steps again if necessary to remove and extra air trapped in the system.
Take it to a mechanic, that is nit something you "try" if you "don't know what you are doing".....doing such things usually gets you a higher bill at the mechanic, and gives him/her a reason to laugh at you....
