Question about 2004 Ford F150
You have a switch on the side of the transfer case and you have a actuator in the differential front end if you dont use your four wheel drive often that can be a problem if you have no reason to use it stil once every three months engage your four wheel drive and ride around your neiborhood sometime the switches get stuck tap on those if that doesnt help loosen them up replace them
