Question about 1995 Ford Mustang

I have Bi-Xenon headlights in my 1995 Mustang. The headlights come on fine but when I flip the highbeams on the indicator comes on but the lights never change. It's not the dimmer switch.

The car is also equiped with a high beam fuse which is a round one........Check mannual or on the back of fuse cover for location.....Hope this helps.

it may need reset at the dealer to accomodate the new style/type of lamp..unless the cars', original factory setting does not allow for that change to be made.. they can tell you either way..

It could be the bulbs are out or the switch is bad or the wiring or a fuse. Diagnosing needs to take place.

My lights don't work. When i turn the lights on nothing happens, but the high beam indicator comes on.


replace the headlight switch and the connector to it if it is burned looking or discolored.

check the fuses and if not that make sure there are no wires exposed and that they are pluged in

Sounds like your switch is bad (i.e. turn signal / healight dimmer / winshield lever switch) inside the steering column. Replace as necessary.

Heasdlights stay on when switch and key are off


The headlight module is a well engineered electronic black box . If you have an electronics
background you can repair it.contact me cavedweller@live.ca.If you have difficulty with the
difference between an amp and a volt a replacement is available at your local dealer for
about $150.

I switched one of the new bulbs with a working older bulb, and the problem went away. weird...
