Driving today, Why did clutch pedal just die and stayed stuck?

You don't say what car? If its hydraulic operation it may need more fluid and bleeding to get going, but find the leak for the fluid whilst you're at it.
If its mechanical, ie a cable then replace the cable. Most cars with a cable system have a self adjust mechanism either under the dash where the pedal pivot is or at the trans end.
If we knew what car we could help.

How do I bleed air out of a new power steering pump? The mechanic said it'd work its way out,but it's not.

Remove cap fill fluid to cold line turn wheels to left stop then right stop do this several times until fluid is no longer foamy. Must be done with cap off to allow air to escape system.

Sounds like your brakes are sticking. Possibly the emergency brake is not disengaging entirely? Stop the car and put in park. Apply emergency brake as hard/far as possible. Then release and put in drive and try to go. Most emergency brakes are self adjusting. If the problem still persists, have it taken to your mechanic.

Ac fluid

Air conditioning will need to be taken into a shop to be "re-gassed" going by the fact you do not have the tech mind (asking how to do it) * no offense intended* brings me to say just go into the mechanic. There are laws relating to the gases and fluids so save yourself the risk and work, it is not an expensive job.

You need a new motor as the self park mechanism is incorperated into the gearbox on the wiper motor ,older vehicles you take the cover off the gearbox and clean the contacts but this newer vehicle i have no idea if the cover can be taken off and its not put on with a big press

How can putting green power steering fluid in my car effect it ive been told i should be using red? ford focus 2002 2.0 ive had steering problems for a while and taken it to loads of mechanics and still no...

you should only use the fluid required by the car manufacture as some fluids have friction molecules in them that work with the components that were built to use a friction type fluid system.others don`t have this friction molecule in it to be used by a system that doesn`t require the friction molecule.its like using the wrong transmission fluid in a transmission it will cause transmission problems because of it.and just for your information not all red power steering fluid has the correct properties for a particular application.thats why its important to use the proper fluid for the application.

Shifting hard in reverse & delay shifting in drive

Hi

It sounds like the torque converter is packing up. best way to tell is to take the hand brake off put the car in drive when parked and lift your foot from the brake, if the car starts to creep forward by its self "no throttle" then its most likely the torque converter.

Its an expensive part and they always seem to go around the mileage you say the car has.

In the UK they are around £400 average price but may be cheaper in the US.

I would normally say check the fluid but as you say its been done then, no point.

other possibilities are the slave cylinder for the fluid not functioning correctly. thats about £50 in the UK.

And lastly the gearbox it's self. Its quite unlikely from what you have said but still get it checked out if you think thats the cause.

Hope this is helpful.

Transmission problems

This condition should be taken to a very reputable shop. The engine cradle has to be taken down and the trans side cover taken off. Not something that should be tried at home. Labor for this repair is around 7hrs, plus the cost of the parts, fluid. I would highly recommend it be taken to a Transmission repair shop, so it can be properly diag. They have special test equip that most shops do not have. It actuates the solenoids 1 at a time and test them. Hope this help you. Craig
