Your glass was originally heat sealed to the top material. When it begins delaminating, your only recourse is to replace the top because your new top will come with a new window.

08 town and country backup camera not working...

Since the trouble happened in heavy rain conditions I would suspect water induced conductivity in the wiring to and from the backup camera.
You will need to
1..get a shop manual for the car which details the location of the cable, plugs etc. to and from the camera.
2. Since the camera is located in the rear of the car I would look in the area where water spray from the highway may splatter into the wiring harness and ground connections to the camera.
3. I haven't done one of your year model yet so I can't tell you the exact location of the pieces.
4. Check with your local service manager for the brand and see if there is some news on troubles with this module in other cars
Good luck. It was the moisture and unsealed connections that broke it.

Passenger window goes up and down on its own after rain, kia sedona

educated guess .is rain is getting into a plugin inside your door shorting out and making it move better get on this a kid could have thier head sticking out and it hurts them or worse. remove panel spray the plug in with wd40 then black tape the plug in and a bit of the wires past each side hopefully this will keep it dry. if thats not it water is getting into the window switches on the inside of door do simalr action to prevent water getting on them tape plastic over back side it may have been removed from a previous repair.

Heard a loud snap rear window fell down, looks like rain, the window motor still works how do we get the door panel off.

GM rear window regulators have a cable which breaks causing this problem. get yourself a new regulator at a parts store and have a glass shop install it for you.

My 99 alero has leaking in the back floorboard when ever it rains. sometimes inches of water in back only. I have tried running a water hose over the car and sit inside still can't figure out where it...

You didn't mention if water accumulates when its just sitting. Here are some things to check for both simulated driving and sitting. The car will not be moving for any of these.

The dry check...
Open each door and look all around the seals and door frame. Look for "dry water trails" and for portions of the door frame that the door seal isn't touching. Do the same for the windows and trunk lid. Also, look under car for missing, loose, or unsealed body plugs. Do the same for each wheel well.

(for the next check, look for water inside after spraying each item)
Spray water with a nozzle in an upwards direction at the tops of the doors, windows and at the top of both the front and rear windshield. Spray directly at all trim panels on each door and all around the trunk-lid. Also, spray up and all around each wheel well.
With the doors closed spray directly at and around the entire door seam, for each door.
Keep at it, you'll find it. Hope this helps.

I have a 1993 GMC suburban and the carpet in the rear cargo area gets wet when it rains. i was sitting in the rear when it was rainning 1 day and did not see any rain come in around the windows or seals...

Believe it or not, check the rear wheel wells for rust damage or holes. As the tires spin the water is thrown up into the well and penetrates the rear cargo panel. If not try to check the saturation starting at the rear door and follow it until it gets less. The odds are the water is coming in through the wheel well.

Car trunk leaking

The most likely place that it may be coming from is the Rear window seal.
When the rear window is put in - a rubbery tar is used... and after time (especially if parked in the sun) it will shrink, and dry out.
Usually at the top of the window is the culprit.
it will involve removing the rear window CAREFULLY and replacing the seal with a 2 part epoxy.

If you have a sunroof - there is also a drain tube that may have come disconnected.

Water is leaking into the trunk of my 2005 Honda accord whenever it rains

My 1990 Honda Accord does this too.
When I wash it or when it rains. If I open the trunk/deck lid water flows out of the right rear tail light housing into the trunk.

Solution: get some rubber gasket sealant and apply under the lower gasket around the rear window on each side at the corners. Allow for drying time. Close the trunk and try some water if this doesn't work you will likely have to replace the rear window seal.

Best of luck.

Back window leaks

JUST look and see, when raining? really !

THE TOP REAR , Window fits to a abar that fits to a long bar,
when the rear door closes , it seals against this bar, and there is a seal.

if no seal then go to GM or Suzuki and ask for seals.
