I would start changing the coil packs, all eight of them. They do cost some monies but I am sure once they are all changed you gas mileage will improve and it will run better

I recently replaced a cool pack on my 2001 dodge Durango now it is running really rough and it keeps dying and getting hot any suggestions?

The problem you describe is likely unrelated to the new coil pack. Rough running and stalling can be indicative of a fuel delivery problem, contaminated fuel, or one or more bad spark plug wires (or fouled spark plugs, but less likely). Readout all stored codes from the ECU using an ODB reader for a diagnostic starting point.

I have a 2001 chevy suburban 5.3. when i bought it i just oils change, new battery, spark plugs and wires still runs rough as p0300 what is reason?

This is a random misfire of all the engine cylinders, the causes are many and each must be diagnosed to fix the problem. If you click this LINK you will go to the best info I know of for diagnosing the problem.

No check engine light on runs rough while in gear

Plug Mis-firing (firing-but not adequately) no light and no fire.
Causes: Spark plug bad, spark plug wire leaking.
If you can pull the spark plugs - and you find that one of them is wet or very dirty - compared to the others....the you have the wire/plug source identified.

Car starts and runs fine then after 30 min or so runs rough

Check the primary and secondary resistance on your coil and resistance and gap on your spark plugs. Sounds like you have a high temp foul out.

check the spark plug wires, put water in a spray bottle and spray along the wires, especially by the coil,if the car starts to run bad or you see sparks, the wires are no good, hope this helps, Ray

93 chev silverodo missing on 2 cylinders

This could be a few things. The first thing i would check is the firing order as 2 crossed leads will cause this . If this checks out ok try a compression test. A blown head gasket between 2 cylinders will also cause this. Hope ive helped
