Is there a lever on the driver side close to the brake pedal. Mine is a 97 but there is a lever for the trunk and the hood. I hope this works.
Now if someone could read my problem and help me.

2005 chevy colorado 5cyl cranks won't start has new fuel pump later it started than it died

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. The basic tests for, it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also check fuel injector pulse
Have you had the battery disconnected?

2004 Dodge Neon 2.0 - Got a new battery, turns over but still wont start. Is getting fuel though.

Has it been running since you got the new battery? If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check for fuel injector pulse. If more than one issue, check cam and crank sensor. Check theft/security where applicable.
Don't replace anything unless testing points you in that direction.

2005 GRANDAM GT CRANKS BUT WONT START

Well, there are several basics your engine needs to start: Spark, fuel, compression, and correct valve timing. I am going to assume on good faith that your GT has the 3.4 liter V6. Here are a couple basics on checking fuel and spark:
GM usually puts a schraeder valve (looks like a tire air valve) on the fuel rail. This is where you connect a fuel pressure gauge to test the fuel pressure. It should be 52-59 PSI when you turn the key to run.
If your fuel pressure is good, remove a spark plug wire from one of the front 3 spark plugs. If you have a spark tester, connect it to the removed plug wire. If you don't have a spark tester, remove the spark plug. Plug the removed spark plug or tester into the plug wire. Touch the metal threads of the plug or tester to a good solid metal part of the engine using gloves or non-conducting (plastic) pliers. Have someone try to start the engine. Watch the gap at the end of the spark plug. You should see a bright blue/white spark and hear it snap every time it fires. If you don't, there may not be any spark getting to the engine. Diagnosis of the problem can be far trickier from here on out. You will need to be able to diagnose electrical problems in the fuel/ignition system to find the root cause of no fuel/no spark.

If you cannot hear the fuel pump run in the tank when you turn the key to run, try lightly rapping the bottom of the fuel tank with a hammer turned to its side (don't put a hole in your fuel tank!) while someone cranks the engine over. If the engine starts, most likely cause is a failed fuel pump. Don't expect the car to keep starting on a regular basis if it does start by hitting the tank. The fuel pump will need to be replaced.

My 2005 dodge neon sxt wont start, no spark, changed cam shaft sensor, coil is good, cant find the crankshaft sensor, also wondered if it could be the timing belt, what do you think?

the crank sensor is on the back side of the engine just above the oil pan there will be two sensors there one is the crank sensor and the other is oil presser sensor. All so check the wires from the crank sensor to the cam sensor. If you think it is the timing belt pull the cover and check it. hope this helps.

2005 dodge neon cranks but wont start

Hello, If it just cranks and not starting at all can be several things to look at. A engine to run needs fuel, spark, compression, air. BUT here is what I would first do, if you check to see if you have spark, and fuel, most likely it could be the crank sensor. If no codes come up on dash. There is so many things it could be. Just take one step at a time. See if your getting fuel, if you smell fuel, like flooded, then its getting fuel, otherwise could be fuel pump not working, If pulling a plug and keep it in plug sleeve and set next to medal screw on block, and have someone turn key, to see if you see spark. If spark then getting spark, Then were back to a couple things.... Crank sensor went out, that will cause to crank and not start, if cam sensor went out, it would still run, but just like ****. Next if still cranks and wont start, could be the timing chain missed a slot, which means could of bent a valve or stuck valve. Dont panic yet, just like I said start with first and always fuel, and also dont forget fuse panel for fuel relay fuse or fuel pump fuse to see if good. Keep me posted as i will try and help you along the way, Mike

Wont start it cranks but nothing happens.wont turn over. put a new what you would call distributor. still nothing.

If the Starter isn't turning the engine over, but you hear a clicking sound, you may have a bad Starter.
If the Starter is turning the engine over, but you are getting no Spark, you may have a failed Camshaft or Crankshaft Position Sensor, or your Timing Belt may have jumped or broken(common on the neons).
If the Starter is turning the engine over, but you are getting Spark, you may have a failed fuel pump, fuel pump relay, or fuel pressure regulator.

Before you start replacing sensor, double check the Timing belt to ensure it hasn't broken or jumped, and check to see if you are getting a spark or not.

I have a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT. Having no previos issues/problems... a few weeks ago I was driving down a busy road & all of a sudden it totally just shut off on me. I wasn't able to turn the wheel, non...

If it cranks good but won't start, Have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse. Check for applicable trouble codes. You need an obd2 code reader to check codes, yourself. Hopefully the code reader will check manufacturer specific codes as well as po codes.
At the ignition coil and fuel injectors, dark green wire with orange tracer should be hot with engine cranking, use a test light to check voltage. If no voltage, that leads back to asd relay. I'm not saying the relay is faulty. The computer has to see both the cam and crank sensor signals before it will ground the asd relay, if either one of those sensors is faulty, the vehicle won't start. Just my opinion.

2005 dodge neon starts then immediately dies. There are no engine lights on. When I gave it gas to try to keep it going it died again and now won't even start. What could be wrong? This has also happened...

The first thing I would do is check fuel pressure. If you don't have a gauge shoot some carb spray into the throttle body while somebody cranks it over. If it starts and runs I would bet the fuel pump is bad. Check foir power at the pump to make sure the wiring is o.k.

My girl friend has a 2004 neon that will not start. The engine cranks over but engine will not fire up. I check for spark at all wires and I have spark. I check for fuel and have good fuel pressure up to...

Darien, just because it's getting good spark at the spark plug wires doesn't mean that the spark plugs are firing. Now let's get your girlfriend happy again, Remove those spark plugs, check the center electrode and see if they are worn down, if they are worn down, change all 4, Good luck, Gary

2003 Dodge Neon won't start, battery is good and will crank, just won't fire and start? Any ideas what the problem could be?

Coils bad? Spark plug wires? Fuel pressure? Clogged injectors? ECU? Lots to check. Renting a code reader from an auto store may help.
