SOURCE: How do I get a set of replacement keys for a 1995

If you do not have the original key, you can take the vin number and proof of ownership and the dealer should be able to help you. If not you will have to have it towed to a chevy dealer. The chips can be read, but if you do not have the chip they they have to determine what chip the car us using.

Hope this helps.

It sounds like you have an ABS concern. The lights will go off or cleared when the problem is repaired, then it can be cleared with a scan tool.

Hello I was wondering if a 4T60-E Transmition from a 1995 Monte Carlo Z34 (3.4L) fit a 1997 Monte Carlo LS (3.1L)??

I just answered the same question for another person. Physically the transmissions will interchange; just be sure to check ALL electrical plug's BEFORE installation AND change your linkage arm. The flywheel SHOULD be the same diameter also, just be sure to check the torque converter bolt pattern b4 installation. Lastly,be sure that the dip sticks are the same........ALL the part's on both transmission's are interchangeable, change as necessary.

My 1997 monte carlo z34 3.4 engin is holding high rpms

I had a similar problem on a 3.4 Lumina Z34. It was a leaking intake gasket. Be careful with the plastic vaccumn lines as they will get brittle.
