    SOURCE: on 1992 ford explorer 4 li where does # 1 plug in on coil pack

    i belive its 4 1
    6 2
    5 3 standing in front of the engine on the coil pack,but the engine starts at 1 on the passenger side and goes straight back on that back to 2 and 3,driver side is4,5,6 straight back,hope this helps

    Have a 1985 ford f150 302 efi v8 need to know the firing order?


    1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 The rotor turns counter-clockwise. Make sure to keep #7 and #8 spark plug wires separated. The 5.0L had a problem with 7 and 8 cross-firing because they fire so close to each other. Ford changed the firing order on that engine, in later years , because of that reason. Hope this helps ya...     Need 1997 Explorer 4.0l Efi V 6.0 Firing Order, engine number and coil number. Coil is located on the passenger side. please help.


    Cylinders are as follows.

    Drivers side front to rear

    4,5,6

    Passenger side front to rear

    1,2,3

    Coil is marked the same, according to the manual.


    Firing order is 1,4,2,3,5,6

    that is true your firing order is wrong here is a link to a web sight that has all the 1998 explorers 6cyl just click on the one that your explorer is and it'll show you the correct firing order also make sure you have your plugs gaped right good luck.
