How do you charge the a/c on a 2000 lincoln cont.

If you need to add or charge with refrigerant,you have a leak
Repairing the leak is the only environmentally responsible way to go.
If you try to add to the system, it won't take much, and you have no way of knowing how much is in the system.
You need a shop that is trained and has the equip to pull a vacuum,repair and charge properly

2000 Linc Cont overheating. I replaced water pump, thermostat, belt & tensioner, blew through top hose out bottom (rad not clogged). Top hoses hot, bottom hose cold.


Do you have any coolant flow thru radiator with cap off?

Is thermostat in correctly?

Do a Combustion Leak Test at radiator or cap,
on gases from coolant. You may have a Head
Gasket going bad

I just bought a used engine for my 1988 lincoln and its reading history codes of 91, 41, and 34. What are these codes


91 (engine running) heated oxygen sensor indicates system lean, left side
91 ( cont. memory) no heated oxygen sensor switching indicated, left side.
41 (engine running) lean right side.
41(cont. memory) no heated oxygen sensor switch,right side.
34 egr valve pressure transducer/position sensor sonic voltage above closed limit.

Charging system error


Have the fusable link checked. It's a short insulated wire integral with the main wire harness. ( if it is equipped with one).

MY 2000 LINCOLN CONT INFLATED A MONTH AGO AND WILL NOT DEFLATE. THE LIGHT COMES ON SAYING CHECK AIR RIDE SYSTEMS. HOW DO I DEFLATE?

STUCK CD CHANGER


A coin has fallen down inside the unit. If you unbolt it from the arm rest and turn it upside down,the coin may fallout. I had to take my apart and physical remove the lodged coin.

these things only last about 5years. i'd recomend converting. unless you want to keep putting $$ into it. but first check the hoses to make sure they are not leaking. in which case, it's a cheap fix replacing the hoses.

You could have a bad connection somewhere. Possibly on the alternator. You also may have a bad ground somwhere. Hope this helps any
