Maybe 5 amp is wrong size. I don't see anything that small in your boxes.

Mercedes-benz slk 32 amg blows fuse 25 doors will not lock remotely

There's a wiring short or earthing problem somewhere on the fuse 25 circuit.

You can spend a lot of time trying to track down a wiring fault. My honest advice would just be to take your car to an auto electrician and let him sort the problem out.

When you look at a factory wiring diagram & follow
the wires from the fuse that blows, where do they go?

Have to test that circuit to find a problem

Maybe a fail Solenoid or 5 other things

Jeep keeps blowing fuse

You have a dead short and yes it could be in one of the door lock switches, figure out which one is blowing the fuses and take it out, might just have a wire that came loose in the back and is causing it to short out when you hit the switch button.

M38 fuse keep blowing

the parts are shorted, the FUSE stops the fire. and flames.
we fix this buy isolating the shorted part.
we do that with an ammeter. (there are other ways, ask)
i see the ammeter prove short then
i try each door manually , 1 by one form the local door switch lock
to see if one door blows the fuse when activated.
BINGO, so then unplug that door lock solenoid, still blow the fuse
(i use a fuse substitute device (sold in all good auto-stores) called a fuse, circuit breaker converter)
lock sol, removed, still blows?, yes? then harness shorts, (hard work)
if Sol, pulled cures over-current, its bad. a shorted soleniod.

there are other ways, ill just list them.
no ammeter?
no C-Breaker.?
  1. use a light bulb in place of fuse. (i use a head light in a box)
  2. a current limited power supply in place of fuse. (see over current)
  3. Pul all parts, 1 by one on this bad line and a box of fuses.
there are 4 ways.
I always use an amp clamp meter on the line
and the circuit breaker trick.
then pull parts. and conn. on the bad feed. (lots there are)

that's it, for shorts.

Sliding door fuse keeps blowing

unless someone disabled needs that function, just let it not work. i have a 2000 pontiac montana whos electric sliding door doesnt move electronically anymore but if you just yank it, itll open and slam it shut. its an inconvienience but its not worth the money to fix unless, like i said, someone disabled needs it

The door unlock and auto start will not work, but it does unlock the doors

The lock and start is on the same remote, but there are different function internally. I would suggest that the remote start which is usually under the dash is at fault and will require service, sometimes it is just a fuse that blowed...I would check all fuses, and if it is an aftermarket the fuses will be on the device itself. Good luck.

Keep blowing out auto door lock fuse

You have a short Somewhere. Check inside the Door where the Harness goes into the Doors. It is the Black Flex duct that looks like a Vacuum hose.

2003 Mercury Sable, Driver's side remote keyless entry keypad not functioning

Doubt its a fuse. Most likely the key pad has failed and needs to be replaced. On the bright side this is a good problem to have and you have a very reliable car.
